I hope that you will enjoy visiting here. Posts will vary from sermons, studies, and devotionals to pictures of family and my own brand of quirky humor. You never know what you’ll find, so check in often and see what’s going on!

Is There anything worth watching on TV?

Here was last nights TV lineup on  the big 4 (ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX)

FOX – 7-9pm – Hell’s Kitchen – 2 hours of people enduring harsh criticism for their food.

NBC – 7-9pm – Biggest Loser – 2 hours of people enduring harsh criticism for their weight.

ABC – 7-9pm – Dancing with the Stars – 2 hours of people enduring harsh criticism for their dancing.

CBS – 7-9pm – NCIS & NCIS:Los Angeles – 2 hours of people trying to solve crimes that only happen on TV, but are probably closer to reality than any of the above reality TV shows.

And then, to top the night off, on the Jay Leno Show, Jay had as his guest none other than Pee Wee Herman. (Yes, I like you thought he was either dead or incarcerated.)  Then, in the middle of his interview, during the commericals there was an ad for the latest reality TV show to hit the market – Rescue Ink.  What is Rescue Ink about, you ask?  It’s a group of tattooed bikers who go around rescuing animals.

Really?  That’s the best you can do?

Maybe this is all part of a larger scheme to push Americans back to a love of reading.  For me, at least, it’s working.
