My prayers today are for the people of London. I hope that God will bring healing and mercy to the victims and their families. The tragedy and turmoil of our world continues to draw me tearfully to Christ, begging for His return. Come, Lord Jesus, Come.

Father God,
Why does it seem as though you have forsaken the world? I look around and I see pain and tragedy when I know what you desire is healing and peace. What keeps you from coming back? Why do you delay your return? I know your grace and love are eternal and from heaven you know the time perfectly, but my soul longs for you now.
God, this world has not been forsaken by you, we are the ones who have forsaken. We have taken your blessings and used them for curses. And as your church we sit back in our own little world and ask that you take care of things. Help us to be a part of your work, Lord. Help us to be the ones who share your truth and love.
God, bring healing and peace, please. Be with those in London who need your loving hand. Bring healing and blessing. Holy Spirit, rush into action, that you may fill dark crevases with blinding light. Bring about renewal and revival.
And change me, that I might not be one of the forsakers of your blessing.
